Female doctor examining patient with otoscopeKent Health Plan Corporation is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that was formed in May 2001. Its purpose is to develop innovative programs that improve access to healthcare for thousands of low-income people in Kent County without health insurance.

Kent Health Plan (KHP) currently offers:

Plan A
is the Adult Benefits Waiver (ABW) program serving people with incomes of less than $304* per month. Some organizations refer to this program as the Adult Medical Program (AMP).

Plan B
is for individuals whose incomes are 150% or less of poverty and who are not eligible for any government sponsored healthcare program.

Plan C
is an affordable healthcare option for small businesses with up to 50 low-wage employees.

Medication Assistance Program
provides coordinated access to prescription medications for Kent County residents whose incomes are 200% or less of poverty and who are not eligible for any government sponsored prescription program.
